Ashlea Baker Swimwear
I designed and built a fully functional Shopify website for my own business, Ashlea Baker Swimwear. The site was created with a clean, calm aesthetic, using soft blue tones to reflect a coastal feel. With bold and colourful product imagery, the website itself was intentionally kept minimal, providing a consistent backdrop that allows the swimwear to take centre stage.
Works included:
- Basic logo and graphic design.
- Full Shopify store build.
- Content upload.
- App integrations such as TrustPilot, Instagram and product customiser.
- Ongoing website maintenance, development and product creation.
SEO:
I optimised my swimwear website to improve organic visibility on Google, focusing on keyword-led page optimisation, clearer structure, SEO-friendly product descriptions, image alt text, and technical clean-up.
After just one month of SEO work, organic performance improved, with non-product pages seeing a 43.5% increase in clicks, 17.7% more impressions, and a 21.9% improvement in click-through rate compared to the previous month. This work is ongoing, with continued optimisation aimed at building further long-term growth.

Hearts & Krafts
Kirstin, owner of Hearts and Crafts, approached me after experiencing consistent growth on Etsy and becoming frustrated with high commission fees. The goal was to create a dedicated Shopify store that reflected the playful nature of the handmade resin products, with a soft pink aesthetic throughout.
The website was built using a free Shopify theme, including a tailored homepage layout, core website pages, and full product setup. The project covered app integration, policy pages, checkout configuration, and a fully mobile-friendly design, resulting in a clean and easy-to-navigate online store.
Ongoing support is provided through updates, maintenance, and product additions as required.
